Atlas Copco temperature sensor is mainly used for Atlas air compressor GA series to transmit host temperature. This allows the Atlas air compressor computer controller to read the displayed temperature value. If the temperature exceeds the set rated value, it will shut down at high temperature. If the temperature of the main engine exceeds the rated temperature, it will cause the engine oil to solidify and gasify at high temperatures, and the machine head will stick to high temperatures. Therefore, a major overhaul of the air compressor main engine is necessary. So be sure to use the original Atlas temperature sensor to avoid causing more damage to your machine and increasing maintenance costs.
There are four main types of Atlas temperature sensors: thermocouple, thermistor, resistance temperature detector (RTD) and IC temperature sensor. IC temperature sensors include two types: analog output and digital output.

With the widespread application of low-temperature technology in defense engineering, space technology, metallurgy, electronics, food, medicine, and petrochemicals, as well as research on superconducting technology, low-temperature thermometers for measuring temperatures below 120K have been developed, such as low-temperature gas thermometers, vapor pressure thermometers, acoustic thermometers, paramagnetic salt thermometers, quantum thermometers, low-temperature thermistors, and low-temperature thermoelectric couples. Low temperature thermometers require temperature sensing elements with small volume, high accuracy, good reproducibility and stability.
